Bank of Singapore has bolstered its Middle East business in Dubai with two new relationship managers, formerly from Indosuez Wealth Management and Citibank.
Bank of Singapore has added Mahesh Ramakrishnan and Shikhy Chandhok as relationship managers, according to a statement. Based in Dubai, they report to Salman Bajwa and Chetan Mehra, respectively, who are market heads for Middle East and Global South Asia.
Ramakrishnan has more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, succession and estate planning, and investment advisory, most recently at Indosuez Wealth Management, where he advised clients across the Gulf Cooperation Council region and India. Previously, he worked at Deutsche Bank and Union Bancaire Privée in Dubai.
Chandhok brings more than 18 years of experience in wealth management, treasury, and retail banking. She was most recently working at Citibank UAE, where she advised on investment, structured product, and financing solutions.
Bank of Singapore – OCBC’s private banking unit – is looking to grow its business in Dubai, which it names as a key hub, alongside Singapore and Hong Kong. In June, it appointed 35-year veteran and ex-UBS executive Lim Leong Guan as head of private banking, Middle East, South Asia & international.
