Barclays Private Bank has confirmed a previous report on the the appointment of a non-resident Indian head in Singapore, according to an internal memo.
Barclays Private Bank has appointed Nikhil Jha as head of non-resident Indian (NRI), private bank, Singapore, according to an internal memo, and he will also join the private banking Singapore management committee. He is tasked with deepening client relationships and delivering integrated solutions across investments, lending and wealth structuring.
In the role, he will report to Alex Harrison, Singapore country CEO and interim Singapore head of private banking.
Jha has over 20 years of private banking experience, most recently at Bank of Singapore as a team head managing international client portfolios. Prior to that, he also held senior roles at Deutsche Bank and Kotak Mahindra Bank.
