Bank of Singapore has hired a seasoned private banker, formerly from HSBC, as a team head for the Global South Asia client segment.
Bank of Singapore has appointed Yatish Aron as team head, Global South Asia, according to a statement, effective October 12. Based in Singapore, he will report to Bikram Sen, market head, Middle East, Global South Asia, and international.
Aron has more than 25 years of industry experience, most recently at HSBC Private Bank in Singapore where he served as managing director and senior relationship manager for the Global India segment with a focus on acquiring and managing ultra-high net worth clients. Previously, he also held leadership and relationship management roles at Sarasin Rabo Investment Management and Citibank.
Over the past year, Bank of Singapore has strengthened its team in Singapore under the leadership of Zubin Dabu, market group head, Middle East, Global South Asia, and international. Key appointments have included ex-UBS bankers Sen and Ritika Patel, as well as Priyanka Maheshwari and Dinesh Chaudhary, who joined from HSBC Private Bank and Julius Baer, respectively.
