New York-based financial technology firm Broadridge is extending its digital asset capabilities to wealth managers in the US, further bridging the gap with cryptocurrencies and tokenized securities.
Broadridge is expanding its next-generation digital assets platform to wealth management firms in the US market, building on existing availability in Canada, according to a statement. The firm aims to enable US broker-dealers, registered investment advisers, and wealth managers to incorporate digital assets into their existing wealth offerings through a unified operating model.
The digital asset capabilities include support for cryptocurrencies and tokenized real-world assets, including equities, funds, and private or alternative investments, integration with existing Broadridge or third-party systems, integrated wallets and institutional-grade custody, and more. The platform is backed by an ecosystem of providers across custodians, wallet infrastructure providers, liquidity providers, and compliance partners, including Anchorage DigitalOpens and Galaxy DigitalOpens.
“Digital assets are moving from the margins to the mainstream investment conversations for US investors, advisors and wealth managers,” said Tom Carey, Broadridge’s global head of product and technology.
“Our platform helps firms extend the trusted wealth experience they already provide to include digital assets, while managing the operational complexity behind the scenes. By bringing traditional and digital investments together in a single environment, we are helping clients expand investor choice while maintaining the controls, service model and experience their businesses require.”
