Carson Group has acquired Aveo Capital, a Colorado-based wealth advisory firm managing approximately USD 608 million in client assets. The deal, for an undisclosed sum, will see Aveo rebranded as a Carson Wealth location, further expanding Carson’s presence in the Rocky Mountain region.

Founded in 2011 by Keys Tinney, Brian Rorick and Michael Beerman, Aveo Capital operates out of Englewood with a 16-person team. All three co-founders will remain in leadership roles following the acquisition.

Carson, which oversees more than USD 42 billion in assets, said the move is part of a broader strategy to scale through selective acquisitions. “What you’re really acquiring is 16 amazing people,” Carson Group CEO Burt White told Barron’s, highlighting talent retention as a key driver of the deal.

This marks Carson’s 15th acquisition in 2025, following earlier expansions into Maryland, Chicago and Salt Lake City. The firm is expected to announce more transactions before year-end.
