British private bank Coutts & Co. has appointed Nitin Singh, formerly head of Barclays Private Bank Asia Pacific, as managing director and head of managed solutions, the firm said in its latest personnel disclosure.
Singh will oversee the Coutts Managed Investments platform, a suite of nine multi-asset funds spanning risk profiles from defensive to all-equity strategies. He joins Coutts’ investment products and solutions team, taking responsibility for portfolio construction and ongoing management across the platform.
The appointment underscores Coutts’ efforts to broaden and refine its discretionary and managed-fund offerings as private banks compete for client assets. Singh brings more than two decades of experience in private banking and wealth management, including leadership roles at Barclays and other global firms.
Coutts, part of NatWest Group, has grown its investment solutions capabilities in recent years as demand rises among high-net-worth clients for diversified managed products and tailored portfolio services.
