A 20-year private wealth veteran and former DBS banker has joined Singapore-based external asset manager Lighthouse Canton to accelerate expansion across Southeast Asia.
Lighthouse Canton has appointed Angela Saik as managing director, wealth management, according to an announcement. Based in Singapore, she will be tasked with accelerating expansion across Southeast Asia, extending its reach into new markets, including Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Brunei. She will focus on originating new client relationships in Southeast Asia, strengthening her team with senior hires, and delivering tailored wealth advisory solutions.
Saik has more than 20 years of experience advising private wealth clients across Asia. She previously held senior roles at DBS, Pictet, and RBC.
Doubling AUM by 2027
Lighthouse Canton has a target of growing assets under management to USD10 billion by 2027, doubling its current USD5 billion, with Southeast Asia playing a pivotal role. To support growth, it has made several recent appointment for its global wealth management business, including Michael Darriba as managing director, key clients and institutions in Dubai. In India, the firm added Abhay Laijawala as managing director and chief investment officer, Gurjeet Sohi as managing director and head of wealth management, and Muffazal Arsiwalla as managing director and head of capital solutions & advisory,
