Bank of Singapore has hired a former team head from J. Safra Sarasin to support its ultra-high net worth growth ambitions in Greater China and North Asia.
Bank of Singapore has appointed Kelly Yang as a senior relationship manager, according to an announcement. Based in Hong Kong, she reports to Anne Song, market head for Greater China & North Asia (GCNA).
Yang has nearly 30 years of wealth management and private banking experience, most recently as a team head at Bank J. Safra Sarasin. Prior to that she spent over a decade as a team head at DBS in Hong Kong. In her roles at the two banks, she oversaw relationship managers serving clients across Greater China, with a particular focus on Taiwan. Previously, she also worked at BNP Paribas Wealth Management, Mizuho Securities, and Goldman Sachs.
UHNW growth target
The latest appointment further supports Bank of Singapore’s broader ambitions to grow assets under management (AUM) from ultra-high net worth (UHNW) clients by 30% by 2028.
In the first half of 2026, the GCNA business saw both AUM from UHNW clients and overall AUM increase by 10% year-on-year.
