Former UBS intermediaries specialist joins RBC WM in Singapore

RBC Wealth Management has hired a former UBS executive in Singapore to lead its financial intermediaries business across Asia.

RBC Wealth Management has appointed Thomas Jost as head of financial intermediaries (FIM) desk, according to a statement. Based in Singapore, he will lead the development and management of the bank’s FIM business across Asia.

Jost has over 20 years of experience in FIM services, most recently at UBS. Previously, he held senior leadership roles at Credit Suisse, VP Bank, EFG Bank, and Julius Baer.

The Canadian private bank has been on a hiring spree as of late in Asia, including four bankers in Hong Kong and the establishment of a new global South Asia team in Singapore.
