J.P. Morgan Private Bank has announced senior appointments for its offices in Asia and Europe, as part of an internal reshuffling.
J.P. Morgan Private Bank has appointed Maya Prabhu as head of wealth advisory, according sources familiar with the matter. She will relocate from the UK to Hong Kong to take on the new role and report to Harhika Patel, CEO of the Asia private bank.
Prabhu most recently served as Pierpoint team lead for the UK, Channel Islands, and Ireland for two years. Prior to that, she led Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) wealth advisory and family governance for the international private banking unit at J.P. Morgan.
Internal moves
Prabhu succeeds Felicia Law, who will focus solely on client coverage in the Hong Kong and Philippines markets while continuing to report to Ernest Ho, head of Hong Kong and the Philippines.
The bank also named Richard Gower as Pierpoint team lead for the UK, Channel Islands, and Ireland, reporting to Maurice Brown, regional head for UK, Channel Islands, and Ireland. Gower has extensive experience serving a variety of clientele and was most recently investor team lead in the UK.
When contacted, a spokesperson for the bank confirmed the appointments.
