The Australian wealth management unit of Liechtenstein-based LGT has bolstered its investment capabilities with a fresh hire.
LGT Wealth Management has appointed Arthur Bengasino as head of investment solutions, according to a LinkedIn post, based in Melbourne. He joins with extensive experience across private markets and alternative assets, most recently at TelstraSuper Investment Management where he was head of opportunities and real assets.
“[Bengasino’s] appointment strengthens our investment capability as we continue to support ultra-high-net-worth clients with institutional-quality expertise and a long-term perspective,” the bank said in the post.
Australia is one of the key markets for LGT, which acquired Commonwealth Bank of Australia (CBA)’s personal advice business, Commonwealth Private Advice, in November 2024. At the time, the deal led to the transfer of more than CHF2.8 billion in assets and the integration of around 40 advisers, associates and support staff.
