Singapore-headquartered wealth and asset management firm Lighthouse Canton has named a new managing director to deepen relationships with ultra-high net worth individuals, family offices and more.

Lighthouse Canton has appointed Michael Darriba as managing director, key clients & institutions, according to an announcement. Based in Dubai, he will be focus on deepening and expanding the firm’s relationships with ultra-high net worth (UHNW) individuals, single and multi-family offices, and institutional clients globally, delivering tailored solutions across debt structuring and equity investment opportunities.

Darriba has more than 25 years of experience in private banking, structured lending, and UHNW client management at global financial institutions, including HSBC, Coutts, UBS, Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and J.P. Morgan. Over the course of his career, he has originated and structured more than USD10 billion in complex transactions in residential and commercial real estate, aviation, art finance, and structured equity.

Headquartered in Singapore, Lighthouse Canton was established in 2014 and currently has over 200 professionals in its offices in Singapore, Dubai, London, and India. It provide asset and wealth management services to UHNW individuals, family offices, founders, and entrepreneurs worldwide.
