Oracle Financial Services is reshaping corporate banking by embedding AI agents into mission-critical processes, enabling faster decisions, stronger compliance, and more seamless client experiences.
Oracle Financial Services is making waves in corporate banking with its latest move into embedded artificial intelligence. The company has unveiled a suite of AI-powered applications and pre-built agents designed to transform how banks handle treasury, trade finance, credit, and lending. The idea is simple but powerful: by automating complex processes and speeding up decision-making, banks can better manage risk, process loans faster, and deliver sharper services to their corporate clients.
At the heart of this transformation are AI experience agents that interact directly with bankers and clients, alongside domain agents that work across workflows. Together, they replace fragmented, manual operations with a unified, real-time system that thrives on data. The result is greater efficiency, stronger compliance, and a smoother client experience. As Sovan Shatpathy, senior vice president of product management and development at Oracle Financial Services, put it, “Corporate banking runs on precision, resiliency, and trust. Our AI-powered platform embeds intelligence directly into mission-critical processes, accelerating decisions and strengthening governance so banks can serve clients with greater speed and confidence.”
This new approach is powered by Oracle’s next-generation banking platform, which places AI at the core of every customer interaction and business process. Its agentic ecosystem allows AI agents to orchestrate seamless, real-time interactions while keeping bankers firmly in the loop to ensure oversight and ethical governance. It’s a balance between machine efficiency and human judgement.
Take corporate credit, for example. Oracle’s Loan Data Extraction Agent tackles the headache of lengthy, customised loan contracts by pulling out and standardising key data, saving time and reducing errors. The Financial Data Extraction Agent structures financial statements into consistent templates, making comparisons easier and feeding into automated credit analysis. Meanwhile, the Loan Data Validation Agent checks extracted data against source documents, flagging anomalies for review. On top of that, the Documents Data Extraction Agent scans external financial news, summarising risks and sentiments, while the Narrative Generation Agent drafts credit memos ready for banker review. Together, these agents streamline what used to be a painstaking process.
Trade and supply chain finance also benefit. The Application Validator Agent reviews Bank Guarantee applications, checking for completeness and flagging risky clauses, while the SCF Program Creation Agent analyses contracts and automatically builds tailored supply chain finance programmes. These innovations not only save time but also reduce risk and improve accuracy.
What’s striking is that these are just a handful of the hundreds of AI agents Oracle Financial Services plans to roll out over the next year. It signals a future where corporate banking is not only faster and more efficient but also more resilient and responsive to the needs of clients navigating an unpredictable market.
