The wealth management arm of RBC has grown its team in Hong Kong with four new hires from CCB, Standard Chartered and BNP Paribas.
RBC Wealth Management has added four new bankers to its Hong Kong office, according to a statement. They include Amanda Yeung, as managing director and team head, as well as Felix Yuan, Anthony Shiu, and Desmond Kwong as directors.
25-year wealth management veteran Yeung joins from China Construction Bank (Asia) where she was most recently deputy general manager and deputy head of private banking. Prior to that, she held senior roles at Credit Suisse, DBS, and HSBC.
Yuan has over a decade of private banking experience from Standard Chartered Private Bank, where he was a director managing high net worth client relationships. Previously, he also worked at Credit Suisse, BNP Paribas, and China Merchants Bank.
With more than 20 years of wealth management experience, Shiu was most recently a senior vice president at BNP Paribas specializing in ultra-high net worth advisory. His career also includes roles at Citi Private Bank, CMB Wing Lung Bank, and Merrill Lynch.
Kwong also joins from BNP Paribas Wealth Management where he was a senior vice president. He has over 10 years of experience with senior roles at Julius Baer and HSBC.
RBC Wealth Management has been on a hiring spree as of late in Asia with a focus on front office talent. Earlier this month, it announced the appointment of Abhijit Shetty, Sandesh Assao and Sudarshan V Athreya as members of a newly formed South Asia team in Singapore.
