The wealth management arm of Schroders has announced a series of changes to its global business, including the addition of private banking heavyweight Peter Flavel.
Schroders Wealth Management has unveiled a number of changes to its senior management team globally.
Grace Lavelle has been appointed as chief investment officer, succeeding Caspar Rock who has been in the role for 10 years and will stay with the firm to become vice chair.
Wilaf Moore has been named CEO, UK, and Channel Islands for Cazenove Capital – Schroders’ high net worth wealth management division in the UK.
Regional appointments
In addition, Peter Flavel has been appointed as chairman of Schroders Wealth Management of Asia succeeding Jason Lai. Flavel is an industry veteran and was previously the APAC CEO of J.P. Morgan Private Bank and global head of private banking at Standard Chartered.
The firm also appointed ex-HSBC private banker Neil De Sousa as head of Middle East and Geneva.
