Assets under management in Singapore climbed higher in 2025, on the back of robust performances and net inflows, with the wealth management industry also registering growth.
Singapore saw assets under management grow 10.1% to reach SGD6.7 trillion (USD5.2 trillion) at the end of 2025, according to the Singapore Asset Management Survey 2025 published by the local regulator. In addition to positive market performance, the city-state saw SGD376 billion of net inflows, up from SGD290 billion in 2024.
During a media conference, Chia Der Jin, managing director at the Monetary Authority of Singapore, said the wealth management industry has also continued to grow strongly though he did not provide specific figures.
In terms of the source of funds, Asia Pacific (excluding Singapore) accounted for the majority at 39%. This was followed by Singapore (24%), North America (15%), Europe (12%), and the rest of the world (10%).
The number of variable capital companies (VCC) – a corporate structure in Singapore designed for investment funds – rose from 1,200 in 2024 to 1,406 in 2025, of which 22% were external asset managers or multi-family offices.
