The team at Bordier & Cie Singapore is growing — and so is its momentum. In the last year, they have welcomed five additional bankers, an investment advisor, and have fresh faces helming the areas of partnerships and marketing and communications  bringing expertise and energy to the organisation.

Leading this transformation is Valérie d’Argembeau, who stepped into the role of CEO in January 2025 with a goal to build a team that drives performance while embodying the values that define the bank.

“We’re in an exciting phase,” d’Argembeau says. “These are still early days, but we’re seeing great momentum. The people we’ve brought in are making a real impact — and this energy will only grow as we move into 2026.”

The bank’s culture of openness and innovation is becoming its defining strength. With a specialist now focused on Family Offices, the team is expanding its ability to meet evolving client needs while nurturing the next generation of talent.

d’Argembeau and her team are intent on delivering an exceptional client experience — one shaped by curiosity, adaptability, and trust. Their commitment to exploring new frontiers, from digital assets to family office services, reflects not just strategic ambition, but a shared belief in the power of people to drive meaningful growth.

Bordier & Cie Singapore is focusing on delivering an exceptional client experience by finding more efficient ways of working and delivering fresh services, such as through their Digital Asset offering and further development of the family office service. The team is excited about these goals as they continue to build on their dynamic beginning.

Amid economic activity revival on the back of the Covid-19 vaccine program, organisations moving from business continuity plans to stable working environments, together with the slightest improvement in unemployment numbers, forced the world to adjust to new realities. Coming to terms with the “new normal”, global investors are now on the look-out for attractive and stable investment opportunities.

Needs of Private Wealth customers and families worldwide have drastically changed due to the pandemic and banks have had to accelerate efforts to deploy a multi-channel service strategy and safeguard clients’ businesses and wealth against negative impacts of economic uncertainly.

The Global Private Banking Innovation Awards will recognise the world’s best private banks, wealth managers and asset managers that are championing innovation across advisory, service, products, customer experience and more.
