BlackRock’s Aladdin Wealth platform continues to onboard new users, including Standard Chartered, which will combine the technology with its existing investment planning tool.
Standard Chartered has formed a global collaboration with Aladdin Wealth – BlackRock’s wealth management tool for portfolio risk and return analysis – according to an announcement.
The British lender will look to integrate Aladdin Wealth into myWealth Advisor, a personalised investment planning tool, which will equip relationship managers and investment advisors with advanced analytics and portfolio insights, to deliver more tailored advice to clients. The initial rollout will focus on Singapore and Hong Kong across the bank’s wealth segments, including affluent and private banking, with plans to expand into additional markets over time.
“By integrating BlackRock’s industry-recognised Aladdin Wealth platform into myWealth Advisor, we are strengthening how we deliver personalised, insights-led advice at scale. At the same time, we are equipping our frontline with advanced tools to support more informed conversations and help clients navigate the increasingly complex market environment with confidence,” said Samir Subberwal, global head, wealth solutions, retail products, data & analytics, Standard Chartered.
Aladdin Wealth continues to onboard new clients, including Taipei-based Cathay United Bank, which became the first private bank in Taiwan to go live with the investment platform. Beyond users, Aladdin is also enhancing its capabilities with the expansion of its Preqin Benchmarks and Indices solutions to include reporting-grade indices and benchmarks to measure private markets performance.
