With public markets proving volatile this year amid rising geopolitical tensions, a changing interest rate environment and growing uncertainty on future growth, Asia’s high and ultra-high net worth investors and family offices are increasingly shifting their focus to private markets for yield and diversification.
Case in point: more than half the advisors and wealth managers surveyed by Schroders in 2024 invest in private markets, with a further 20% expecting to do so in the next two years.
Almost two-thirds (64%) of the respondents in Asia Pacific said the potential for higher returns is the most important benefit of investing in private markets for their clients. This was closely followed by achieving diversification through differentiated drivers of return (60%).1
Global Private Banker will unpack this and more in a webinar exploring the key trends driving private market allocations among the wealthy, the sectors gaining the most traction, and the risks high and ultra-high-net-worth investors should consider.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND? This webinar is targeted at private banking and wealth management professionals, external asset managers, family offices, high and ultra-high-net-worth investors, dealmakers, and private market professionals in Asia Pacific and globally.
